Argentina is the ultimate wingshooting destination in the entire world. The country, almost 3,000 miles in length stretching from its northern border with Bolivia, Uruguay and Brazil to the farthest southern tip in Pantagonia and its glaciers, offers the world's best combined dove, duck, goose, partridge (perdiz) and pigeon hunting. The Season and the Hunt

In every destination you choose in Argentina, we can assure you the most exiting and successful shooting. You may wonder how we can assure this to you, very simply because we live in Argentina and possess the knowledge of the most important areas where you can enjoy your favorite wingshooting sport providing you the best and most unforgettable world class experience.

Mixed-bag season (May to mid-August) in Argentina provides this world's best hunting for doves, pigeons, ducks, geese and partridges (perdiz). Duck hunting is best from mid May to the end of August. Pigeon hunting is best mid March to mid July. Perdiz is open from May 1st to August 15th and you can fish for freshwater dorado any time. You might just imagine a day starting out in waders for a classic decoy duck hunt, then move into frantic afternoon of dove shooting, upland shooting for perdiz over dogs or a pigeon shoot. All in a day’s time with of course the occasional interruption for eating, sleeping and good conversation.

The area near Cordoba continues to provide the best Dove hunting in the world. The hunting for these Eared Doves is year round and Cordoba is considered a wingshooter's paradise. There is no limit on doves in Argentina...and there are over 33,000,000 doves in this area alone.  The dry climate and abundance of foods lend to tremendous bird populations with the dove considered a pest to farmers. The flight of the doves back and forth between the fields is virtually non-stop and provides a challenging, yet tiring sport. Argentina Expeditions is also opening up the Chaco area in Salta Province in the north of Argentina for challenges of the first dove hunting in this area.

Argentina Expeditions has created several exclusive programs to hunt Argentina’s lowlands, waterways, islands and croplands where all the sportsman has to do is focus his or her attention on enjoying the hunting experience. For the Duck hunter, no place on the planet offers more enjoyable shooting for such a wide variety of uniquely beautiful, South American waterfowl with well over 10 species. Argentina’s wetlands are a natural spectacle not to be forgotten, as are the variety of ducks flying simultaneously.

Goose hunting is also famous in Argentina. It has been traditionally offered in two locations of the country: Rio Gallegos and Bahia Blanca. Argentina Expeditions concentrates its hunting in the Bahia Blanca area with Rio Gallegos being much farther south in Argentina. The geese are hunted while they are preparing for their winter migration.
